January was a month of travel. I was thankful to be able to travel for two newborn shoots, both for friends with new little bundles. Ryder was just 9 days new, and he gave us a run for our money. Normally, I prep my parents to expect at least 3-4 hours for a newborn session. Because I was 5 hours from home, I didn’t have the option to come the next day when Ryder was completely over our shenanigans and having a rough day. So, double the normal session, with the help of a beautiful friend and the amazing Jaci Haas Photography, we shot for over 6 hours. And his parents were both troopers! I was not willing to give up with this little dude, I wanted his parents to have something to cherish. I think it was worth it!
