On December 14th, 2012 a terrible and senseless act took place in Newton, Connecticut, taking the lives of 20 precious children ages 6 & 7. To honor those angels, a fellow photographer, who wishes to be anonymous. founded “The Olivia Act”. Olivia Engel’s family had pictures taken a short time before she was killed. Those pictures are precious and now priceless to them. So to Honor Olivia: many photographers around the Nation, including myself, are coming together to offer a gift to a family whom may not have the resources to have family pictures taken.
I will be taking nominations for a family whom you think would appreciate this gift of memories. The session will take place sometime after the New Year and will include a FREE 30 minute session (with-in 20 miles), all session images on a disc for the family chosen. Please message me on my business or personal page with your nomination including a brief message on who you’re nominating and the reason you’d love for them to receive this gift. The family chosen will be contacted via email, so please include their email address. I’ll be taking nominations between now (December 19th) and December 31st. Feel free to SHARE this status so your friends and family can nominate a deserving family as well. The love of a family is life’s greatest blessings so I can’t wait to gift a deserving family with a memory that they will always treasure.
Please know that this is not to boast my business, but rather to Honor and Remember those 20 Children taken so tragically, to keep their memory alive and to give a deserving family a lasting keepsake of their own. My heart hurts for those families that lost a loved one that day. My thoughts are with everyone effected by this tragedy. Thank you!
