Newborn Photography is one of the most amazing ways to document this special time in the first few days of your babies life. I know, the thought of taking photos and spending 3 or 4 hours at your photographers studio when your little one is a week old can seem super overwhelming, but it shouldn’t be. I’ve never talked to a client who regrets taking newborn photo’s or is disappointed that they took that time to do so. I can tell you of my own children, it’s the one thing I wish I had more of. Never again will they grow so quickly and change so rapidly.
Miss Sadie was perfectly amazing. I must admit, I was secretly crushing on this baby girl before I met her. I saw her amazing hair and I couldn’t wait to get her in the studio. Babies with crazy amounts of hair… swooon. And then she got to the studio and it just got better, and better. You see, as photographers, you have dreams of all the set ups and all the different things you can do with a baby and how perfect the session could be. Very rarely does it go exactly as planned. Usually there are more feedings, or the baby might be a little restless and take more settling, or they hate their tummy so all those cute poses are out the window. We improvise. Sadie was a dream. And I’m sure she is for her parents too.
